Which course do I need?

The course you are eligible to take depends primarily on your qualifying Hunter Education status. With a verified Hunters Education Card only the 4-Hour Basic is required.

4 Hour Basic SSF Safety Course - Select Day 1 or 4-Hour Only Options

12 Hour Extended SSF Safety Course - Sign up for both Day 1 and Day 2.


Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) - Included with 12hr
If you are pursuing your Colorado CHP, and complete a live-fire qualification on a separate day at one of our partner ranges.

CHP classroom content is included in the price of the 12 hour course. Live-fire at partner range still applies on separate day.

4 Hour and Part 1 of 12: 4th and 17th

Part 2 of 12 hour: 18th

Course locations can vary, however the primary location is off 64th and Wadsworth in Arvada.
Exact location is sent out a few days prior.

In an effort to not have to turn anyone away locations are chosen
based on the size of the class and could change last minute to accommodate.

No stress, all the locations are near by that intersection within 5-10 minutes.
